About Stephanie Mulroy

Stephanie Mulroy is a small business owner, wife, and mother of four, and a proven community leader running for State Representative in the 1st Worcester District. Raised by a hardworking single mother in Massachusetts, Stephanie brings resilience, real-world experience, and community ties to her campaign.

Stephanie grew up watching her mother juggle a full-time job as a special needs teacher in inner-city Lynn, raising three young children alone, volunteering in her parish, and staying engaged in local politics. That example shaped Stephanie's core values of responsibility and service to others.

A Record of Service

Today, Stephanie is the owner and business manager of Mulroy Family Dental, a once-struggling practice that she helped transform into a premier dental office serving more than 1,500 patients across the Wachusett region.

As a member of the Holden Board of Selectmen, she earned a reputation for tenacity in advocating for constituents. She supported major town projects, including a $10 million improvement to Shrewsbury & Main Streets, a new sports complex, and efforts to welcome and grow small businesses. She also served three years as the Northern Subregion Representative to the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission.

Why Stephanie is Running

Stephanie's decision to run for State Representative stems from concern for the direction of the Commonwealth. When an overwhelming bipartisan vote of the people to audit the Legislature was ignored, she saw a government that had stopped listening.

She believes Beacon Hill has become an echo chamber where legislation is rubber-stamped by insiders, while families, small businesses, and local communities pay the price. As an outsider with no political career to promote, she is running to bring common sense and compassion back into the legislative process.
